Earns Scapia Coins · assumed 0.2 ₹/point. 5 Scapia Coins = ₹1, fixed in the cardholder agreement (v10, 27 Feb 2026). CLOSED LOOP: coins can ONLY be spent inside the Scapia app. Flights, hotels/stays, trains, buses, visas, experiences and the Scapia Store. No statement credit, no bank transfer, no airline/hotel transfer. Coins can cover up to 100% of a booking and there is no minimum redemption. 36-month validity. The whole balance is nullified if the card is unused for 365 days, and forfeited on card closure or death. So 2%/4% is the honest return only for someone who actually books travel through the Scapia app. For anyone who does not, this is a 0%-return card with a good forex feature. The lock-in is harder than MakeMyTrip's myCash, because myCash at least survives outside a single app's inventory.

EMI₹99 + GST per EMI conversion. Foreclosure 2% + GST on the outstanding principal, minimum ₹100 processing fee · A converted purchase stops earning rewards · ₹99 plus GST per conversion. Travel booked in the Scapia app gets no cost 3 month EMI by subvention, meaning the bank still charges interest and Scapia credits the same amount back, so this fee is the only thing you are out of pocket. Closing early costs 2% plus GST of the principal left, with a ₹100 floor. · No coins on EMI transactions, and coins are not reinstated if an EMI is cancelled
Fuel surcharge1% surcharge waiver on fuel transactions up to ₹5,000, maximum ₹500 waived per month (Federal Bank MITC). Fuel spends themselves earn no coins.
Domestic loungeUNLIMITED complimentary domestic lounge access. The null count means uncapped here, not absent. But conditional every cycle: you must spend ₹20,000 in a billing cycle, re-earned each cycle, enabled 3 to 5 working days after the statement date. Utility, telecom and insurance spends no longer count toward the threshold. IMPORTANT per-variant rule: the agreement says spend on one variant cannot be combined with the other, so you need ₹20,000 on the Visa OR ₹20,000 on the RuPay, not ₹20,000 across both. Scapia's own blog and BOBCARD's page both say 'across your cards', which contradicts the governing agreement. Entry is via a QR code generated in the Scapia app at the airport (location access + boarding pass upload required). Cardholder only. Guests pay the lounge's standard price. Since 27 Feb 2026 each domestic departure is a CHOICE of either lounge access or airport dining/shopping/spa spend reimbursed in Scapia Coins (up to ₹1,000 at metro airports, ₹500 at smaller ones), usable once every 24 hours per airport. So 'unlimited lounge' and 'airport privileges' are one entitlement, not two.
International loungeNone. The only international-travel airport benefit is ₹2,000 back in Scapia Coins on dining or duty-free/brand shopping at an Indian international terminal, unlocked by booking an international flight of ₹50,000 or more in the Scapia app (added 27 Feb 2026). That is not lounge access and should not be read as such.

UPI spending1%Earned on the RuPay companion card (virtual, UPI-linkable) that comes with the same account: 5 Scapia Coins per ₹100 = 1% effective, and ONLY on transactions above ₹500. A ₹499 UPI payment earns nothing. That ₹500 floor is the field most reviews drop, and it makes the card useless for the small UPI payments people actually make. Same exclusion list as the Visa card. RuPay must be activated separately in the Scapia app after the Visa card is live. Since June 2025 it is a dual-line product.

Travel (general)4%20 Scapia Coins per ₹100 = 4% effective, but ONLY for bookings made inside the Scapia app (flights, hotels, trains, buses, visas, experiences, Scapia Store), on either variant. Travel booked on any other site or app earns just the base 2% (Visa) / 1% (RuPay).

International0%GROSS reward rate on forex spend is ZERO: 'forex transaction' is on the no-rewards list in the cardholder agreement, so international spend earns no Scapia Coins at all. The card's international value is entirely the 0% markup in perks.forexMarkupPct, not rewards. The honest total abroad is 0% reward with 0% markup, not 2%.
Utilities & bills0%No coins on utility, telecom and cable spends per the 27 Feb 2026 T&C. Spends over ₹50,000 in a cycle also attract 1% + GST. NOTE: Scapia's own blog (dated three months LATER) still says only utilities above ₹20,000/month are excluded. The governing agreement says they earn nothing at all, with no threshold. Cardholders may see either behaviour.
Rent0%No coins. Every rent transaction attracts a 1% + GST convenience fee (max ₹3,000/txn)

Also worth knowing

  • India's first dual-line credit card (launched June 2025): one account, one credit limit, one statement, two cards. A Visa card for offline/online/international spend and a RuPay card for UPI. Both earn Scapia Coins, at different rates.
  • ZERO FOREX IS REAL AND IT IS IN A FEE SCHEDULE, not just marketing: Federal Bank's Scapia MITC lists 'Foreign Currency Mark-up: 0% (Nil)' and the cardholder agreement says holders 'will not be charged any Forex Mark-up while shopping abroad'. No spend condition, no cap, no minimum, no annual fee gating it. Three caveats reviews omit: forex spend earns zero coins. ATM cash abroad still costs 2.5% (min ₹500) plus 45% p.a. From day one. And DCC is not addressed anywhere, so a foreign merchant billing in INR applies its own conversion which Scapia cannot waive.
  • Airport Privileges (the Feb 2026 replacement for plain lounge access): once the ₹20,000 cycle spend is met, each departure gives a choice of lounge, dining, shopping or spa, with spend returned as Scapia Coins up to ₹1,000 at metro airports and ₹500 elsewhere. Must be activated in the Scapia app BEFORE paying. It is not retroactive.
  • Convenience fees: 1% + GST on every rent and wallet-load transaction, and on fuel or utility/telecom/cable spends above ₹50,000 in a billing cycle. Each capped at ₹3,000 + GST per transaction.
  • Up to 3 free add-on cards (spouse, parents, in-laws, siblings, children 18+), added Nov 2025. Each add-on holder gets their own physical and virtual card and OTPs. The primary sets their limit and decides whether their coins pool into the primary account. Add-on holders must meet the ₹20,000 lounge threshold separately.
  • Revolving credit and cash advances carry 45% p.a. Interest-free period up to 48 days.
  • Joining benefit reported as a ₹1,000 flight discount plus a ₹500 voucher, with referral campaigns advertising bundles up to ₹5,500. These are campaign offers, do not appear in the cardholder agreement, and should be treated as unconfirmed.
  • Sequence: Jan 2024 Federal Bank cut Scapia credit limits. Mar 2024 RBI barred Federal Bank and South Indian Bank from onboarding new co-branded card customers. ~Mar 2025 issuance resumed after RBI cleared a revised structure. Jun 2025 the dual Visa+RuPay product launched. Nov 2025 add-ons launched. ~Jan 2026 BOBCARD Scapia launched. The card is OPEN to new applicants as of Aug 2026.
  • The identical Scapia programme is now also issued by BOBCARD (BOBCARD Scapia, public ~Jan 2026) with the same 10%/5%/20% coin rates, the same 5 coins = ₹1, the same 0% markup and the same ₹20,000 lounge gate. The Scapia app routes the application to Federal Bank or BOBCARD by profile and PIN code. BOBCARD's variant differs on EMI (6 to 48 month tenures, 1% or ₹99 processing fee), late-payment slabs and a 50-day grace period. 'bobcard-scapia' would be a real distinct product, not a duplicate.
  • SOURCING CAVEAT: Federal Bank's live document library is behind bot protection and could not be read, so the fee figures here come from Scapia's own CDN copies. The cardholder agreement v10 (27 Feb 2026, current) and the MITC dated Nov 2024, which is one revision behind the live MITC v11 (30 Apr 2026). The Feb 2026 changes were to rewards and lounge rather than the fee table, so the fee figures are believed to hold. Also note scapia.com is no longer Scapia's site (it serves an offline page on an unrelated certificate). The live domain is scapia.cards.

Other exclusions

  • No coins on gift-card purchases
  • No coins on EMI transactions, and coins are not reinstated if an EMI is cancelled
  • No coins on ATM cash withdrawals. 2.5% of the amount or ₹500 (whichever is higher) plus 45% p.a. Interest from day one. Note 'zero forex' does NOT extend to ATM cash abroad.
