Also worth knowing
- Welcome benefit: complimentary annual Swiggy One + MakeMyTrip Black Gold memberships on ₹1,00,000 net retail spend within the first 90 days of card issuance. Unlocked within 48 hours. Must be downloaded within 60 days of the end of the 90-day window from the Regalia Gold SmartBuy milestone portal. EMI spends do not count.
- 5X Reward Points at four merchants. Myntra, Nykaa, Reliance Digital and Marks & Spencer (25 RP per ₹200 = 6.25% at ₹0.50/RP), e-com and POS. Capped at 5,000 RP per calendar month across all four brands combined. Base points on these merchants stay uncapped. Minimum ₹150 per transaction, must be paid directly with the card (wallet payments excluded), and depends on the merchant's MID/TID being registered. Deliberately NOT modelled as an online-category rate, since it is a four-merchant offer rather than a category.
- Boarding Edge (part of HDFC's Travel Edge programme, new in 2026): upload any airline boarding pass to the SmartBuy portal in a calendar quarter and pick any 2 complimentary arrival-city benefits from a spa session, an Uber airport transfer (~₹750), a partner buffet/dining experience, or a one-night ITC room upgrade. You need not have booked the flight on the card.
- SmartBuy accelerators: 10X on hotels/IGP/PharmEasy/Jockey, 5X on flights/Apple/Myntra/brand vouchers, 3X on trains (ConfirmTkt). Accelerated (bonus) points are capped at 4,000 bonus RP per month and 2,000 bonus RP per day. NEW: from 1 July 2026 accelerated points on SmartBuy brand gift vouchers (GyFTR/Woohoo) carry their own separate 3,000 RP per calendar month cap.
- Insurance: ₹1 crore air-accident death cover, up to ₹15 lakh emergency overseas medical/hospitalisation, ₹9 lakh credit shield / lost-card liability.
- Dining: up to ~20% savings via Swiggy Dineout.
- Bank-wide HDFC fees, all separate from the reward exclusions: 1% on every rent transaction (cap ₹4,999/txn). 1% on total monthly wallet loads once they exceed ₹10,000, PayZapp excluded (cap ₹4,999/month). 1% on the full fuel transaction once monthly fuel spend exceeds ₹15,000 for consumer cards. The ₹30,000 threshold applies to BUSINESS cards, not to premium cards (cap ₹4,999/txn). 1% on the whole month's utility spend once it exceeds ₹50,000, ₹75,000 for business cards (cap ₹4,999/month). 1% on education paid via third-party apps (cap ₹4,999/txn), nil if paid directly to the institution or internationally. 1% on online skill-based gaming above ₹10,000/month (cap ₹4,999/month). Note that all HDFC caps run per CALENDAR MONTH, not per statement cycle. Except the 50,000 RP fair-usage ceiling, which is per statement cycle.
- Redemption housekeeping: cashback against statement balance capped at 50,000 RP/calendar month (and worth only ₹0.15/RP, with a ₹500 minimum redemption). Up to 70% of a product/voucher's value can be paid with points. On card closure points survive only 30 days and can then be used for products/vouchers only. Points earned on transactions that also carried an HDFC instant discount are clawed back within 120 days.
